After serving faithfully for our country for two years, our neighbor, Kaleb Harris, recently returned from Afghanistan. And what a welcome he received! This large sign was hung on the front of his house:
He was excorted into the neighborhood by a large firetruck and several police cars (sirens were turned on!).
Hundreds of neighbors and friends lines the streets–clapping, cheering and yes–some ecstatic screaming!
I always feel especially patriotic during the month of July. My heart is grateful for all the sacrifices that take place everyday on behalf of this great country.
